Good morning Ducklings and Parents
Another week not in school and we continue to miss being with our happy, funny and slightly bonkers Ducklings!
Thank you so much to everyone who got in touch last week to let us know what you have been up to and share photos, or just to say hello.
We have really loved hearing from you so please keep the emails coming.
Thank you to those of you who have sent short video clips to us for our class video. They are great!
We will be clipping them together into a longer video on Wednesday. There is no obligation to take part, but we would like to make sure everyone who would like to do so is included.
If you are in contact with any other parents, please could you check they have seen last weeks message about the video?
We are now on Week 4 of home learning and this weeks Learning Project is all about animals! As always, this is here for you to use or to dip in and out of if you would like to, but there are no expectations.
From today, daily phonics lessons produced by the National English Hub and funded by the Department of Education will be available on the YouTube channel ‘Letters and Sounds for Home and School.’
These are spilt into YR lessons and Y1 lessons and follow the phonics programme that we use in school. They look like they will be a really good resource so please do check them out.
There’s a parent letter with more information about the videos at the bottom of the page.
Before Easter we provided details for how you can access online reading e-books through the Oxford Owl website.
More free e-books are now available through the Collins website. To access these:
Go to the Collins Connect website (https://connect.collins.co.uk/school/portal.aspx), click on the Teacher portal and enter
and click Login.
Take care and have a great week!
