Welcome to Ducklings Class!

During their time in Reception, children take part in a broad and ambitious curriculum that has been designed to ensure that, through a careful mix of adult-led and child-initiated learning opportunities, every child can make progress towards our curriculum goals. 

Our curriculum incorporates everything that we want the children to experience, learn and know during their time in Ducklings class. Our intent is that children enter the next stage of their education with the knowledge and skills to tackle new challenges with confidence, independence, self-belief and a positive attitude to learning.

Key Information 

• Please make sure your child has a water bottle in school every day.
• Please ensure all of your child's items, including uniform and drink bottles, are clearly named.
• PE takes place on Fridays. Children are to come to school in their PE kit on this day.
• Phonics reading books will be sent home on Thursdays. It is really important that these are returned every Monday ready to be used by a new reading group.
